You're enrolled! What's next?
Welcome Phone Call
- We will call you to talk one-on-one about your plan and benefits. During this 30-minute call, we will confirm your enrollment and that you’ve received your materials and cards.
- We will also go over your benefits and make sure you understand what’s included in your plan.
- Our team can also help you find a local primary care provider if you need one.
- If you’re unavailable when we call, you can reschedule for a time that is more convenient for you
Your Plan Materials
- Your Member ID Card should arrive within 10 days after your enrollment is confirmed. Until then, you can view your digital Member ID Card or print a copy in your secure member portal.
Your coverage will begin on your plan’s effective date, which is listed on your Member ID Card. - Your Welcome Kit will also arrive soon. This booklet explains your plan, benefits, and how to use your coverage.
- If you have Wellcare Spendables, your card will arrive in a [white and teal envelope]. Activate your card as soon as you get it using the instructions on the card carrier.
- Your Benefit Snapshot is a handy at-a-glance recap of your plan’s benefits. You will receive a copy of your Benefit Overview in the mail. You can also view the digital version online or on your secure member portal.

What to do after you get your plan materials
Review the Information on Your Member ID card
- Make sure your name is spelled correctly on your card.
- Review the important phone numbers on the back of your card, including Member Services.
- Learn more about your Member ID card in this video.
Confirm or Choose Your Primary Care Provider (PCP)
- It’s important to have a primary care provider, also called your personal doctor, for when you need care. You can add one at any time.
- If you need a primary care doctor or want to switch doctors, we can help you during your Welcome Call. If you need help sooner, give us a call or visit your secure member portal.
Review Your Contact Information
- Double check that we have your correct home mailing address, phone number, and email address so we can reach you with important information.
- You can update or change your information in your secure member portal, on your Welcome Call, or by contacting Member Services.
What to do after your plan’s start date
Schedule Your Annual Wellness Visit
- We recommend you schedule your annual wellness visit with your primary care doctor in your first 90 days with us.

Create your Member Portal Account
- Your member portal account is your one-stop-shop for all your healthcare needs. This secure online account is personalized to you and your plan. The member portal can help you find care and manage your benefits.
- Through your secure member portal, you can view your plan materials, access your digital Member ID Card, search for in-network doctors and pharmacies, and more.
After your secure sign-on, you can:
- Find in-network doctors, pharmacies, specialists, and clinics
- View your health plan benefits including dental, hearing, and vision
- Access your digital Member ID Card
- Pay your premium
- Check your Wellcare Spendables balance and shop for eligible products
- Go paperless with digital documents
EntryKey ID
You will be prompted to create an EntryKeyID account when you create your member portal account.
EntryKeyID is an extra level of security used by banks and health plans to protect your personal information. It uses two-step verification with your email address and a password. It’s an easy way to access
your health plan member portal.
