$0 Prescriptions and Wellcare Spendables Card®

For individuals eligible for Medicare and Medicaid, our Dual Eligible Special Needs plans (D-SNPs) are newly designed to make Part D prescriptions and healthy foods more affordable!

Our Medicare Advantage plans are designed to help our members live better, healthier lives. Our D-SNP plans feature $0 prescription copays and a healthy foods benefit.

 

We know that taking medications as prescribed is critical to your health so our D-SNPs* are waiving the cost for all covered prescriptions. That’s right, our D-SNPs* now offer $0 prescription copays, all year long, in all benefit phases! There’s no deductible and no copay for all covered generic and brand Part D prescriptions.

Wellcare Spendables provides a preloaded card to use towards the purchase of healthy food, over-the-counter items, assistance with utilities and more. The Wellcare Spendables card allows you to shop in store at participating retailers, online, mobile app or over the phone for your over-the-counter items. D-SNP and Non-DSNP Medicare Advantage plans may offer an allowance to help with dental services, eyeglasses/lenses or hearing aid costs.

 

In addition to these new benefits, Wellness and Healthcare Planning services, including Advanced Care Planning (ACP), are already available as part of our D-SNPs. ACP means having conversations, and making decisions about, the care you would like to receive in the future. We want to make sure you know these services are available on our D-SNPs in case you need them.
